Choose fabrics around the application
600 denier Kordra is one of the fabrics we use frequently. We assess options from technical textiles to leather for different appearance, carrying and use requirements. Colour, texture, lining and construction are selected together for the project. Sharing a preferred material sample at the start makes comparison easier.
- Denier describes yarn linear density; it does not by itself describe the strength of a complete bag or fabric weight per area.
- Pockets, compartments, handles and reinforcement are planned around the equipment load and access needs.
- Confirm a specific fabric or colour against samples and current availability during quotation.
YKK zipper options
We use special YKK zipper options suited to the project. Series, size, opening direction and puller configuration are selected for the bag’s use. A frequently opened service bag and a presentation bag may have different requirements; appearance is only part of the decision.
- The use of YKK and the selected hardware scope are confirmed in the quotation.
- State any specific zipper performance requirement, such as water resistance; it is not shared by every zipper.
EPDM, XP, XPE and EVA foams
We work with different density options in EPDM, XP, XPE and EVA. Where needed, we can also source and cut upholstery or mattress-type foam. Material and density are evaluated against equipment weight, sensitive surfaces, layout geometry and use conditions. CNC cutting can create project-specific cavities for equipment and accessories.
- Share equipment dimensions, weights and every accessory included in the layout.
- Density, thickness, colour and sample checks are agreed for the project; a material name alone does not establish protective performance.
Laser, DTF and embroidery
We offer laser, DTF and embroidery options. Alongside the intended appearance, the substrate, artwork detail, application area and quantity inform the method. Other application requests can be assessed as part of your project.
- Laser: assessed against the surface, contrast and desired marking sample.
- DTF: artwork colours, print size and compatibility with the fabric are reviewed together.
- Embroidery: artwork detail, thread colours, area and stitch appearance are assessed in the sample.
- Start with vector artwork, colour references, size and placement. Agree artwork approval and any physical sample approval before application.
Confirm IP67 for the selected hardcase
We frequently work with documented IP67 hardcase models for industrial projects. State an IP67 requirement at the start so we can review documentation and conditions for the selected shell model. If panels, openings or other shell modifications are needed, protection of the finished assembly requires a separate assessment.
Your quotation checklist
- Use environment, carried load and desired appearance.
- Material samples, colour references and artwork, if available.
- Quantity, target date and required model documentation.
You can start by sharing your use requirements and approximate quantity. We can clarify missing measurements during the project discussion.
