Choosing the shell

Textile or semi-rigid constructions may suit projects requiring lower weight and frequent access. Supplied rigid cases can address other protection requirements. Equipment weight, handling, field conditions and required test documentation inform the choice.

Foam and accessory layout

Plan an accessible arrangement for the device, cables, batteries and small parts. Foam thickness and clearances depend on the case interior and equipment geometry. A supplied case has fixed external shell dimensions.

Preparing a quotation

Share equipment dimensions and weight, the accessory list, quantity and operating environment. Include the model if an existing case must be used. These details establish the specification and sampling plan.

Custom production or a supplied case?

Textile bags and foam applications are developed for the project. Rigid case shells may be sourced from suppliers; their external and internal dimensions depend on the model. The quotation identifies the shell and the scope of custom work.

What should I send for an equipment case?

Share the equipment dimensions, weight, accessories, quantity and handling conditions. An available drawing or photograph helps us plan the arrangement. Required tolerances and protection requirements are agreed for the specific application.

How are protection claims confirmed?

Water, dust, impact or load ratings apply only to the documented model and test conditions. Ask for the relevant manufacturer documentation where a rating is a procurement requirement. A foam insert does not by itself certify the complete case.
