Protective Carrying Case with Custom-Cut Foam
Request a QuoteThe Protective Carrying Case with Custom-Cut Foam is an archive model with foam recesses shaped around individual parts. Separate recesses are visible inside a rectangular textile body with a perimeter zip and carrying handles. For a new project, recess geometry, finger access and lid clearance are planned again around the actual parts.

Quotation preparation
Verify the foam layout with the actual parts.
A recess is defined by more than an outline. How the part is gripped and lifted out also shapes the design.
- 01
Part geometry
Prepare dimensioned drawings, photographs or samples for each part. Show underside protrusions and suitable support areas.
- 02
Recess and finger clearance
Mark the item positions, areas requiring separation and suitable gripping surfaces. Specify the removal sequence.
- 03
Foam and lid checks
Share part weight and operating conditions. Foam type, thickness, recess tolerance and lid clearance are agreed during sampling.
- 04
Set and production scope
Provide set quantity, any spare recess requirements, labelling and branding details. Approve production specifications after loaded fit, removal and closure checks.

What to consider.
- 01
Shaped foam recesses
The archive example contains separately cut recesses of different shapes. Their number and geometry are specified around the intended parts rather than treated as a standard set.
- 02
Access for removal
Relief cut-outs provide access to parts within the foam layout. Finger clearance is planned around suitable gripping surfaces and the removal direction.
- 03
Zipped lid and carrying handles
A perimeter zip and textile handles complete the carrying arrangement. Include lid contact and loaded balance in the sample checks.
